All moms are busy. The busiest group of people around. When it comes to participating in community projects or political/social activism, any civic duty can feel like a far-fetched engagement when so much else is happening in every minute of every day. Raising kids by itself is more than enough activity to put on your plate.
We want to make participating and engaging in your communities, contributing to causes of interest, funding women/mother-owned campaigns and businesses more accessible.
In our Action section, you will learn of ways to take part in local government, what projects are going on in your community, and fundraisers and start-ups that are in alignment with The American Mom’s mission and vision.
We may not have the time to go out and volunteer, nor the energy after having either worked a full day or spent a full day raising children–but in this section, we try to do the research for you; to create easy steps for busy mommies that can’t find the time to be active, but have a strong desire to take part.
